Mental Disorder Employee

What should we do if we found that one of our employee has mental disorder issue and cannot handle the work anymore?

This is very tricky to handle mental disorder employee. It is always to handle very sensitively. How to handle? There are many ways but it depends on each of the situation. However, please remember that you shall treat him as normal employee but cannot terminate his service due to his illness. You shall look from the perspective of termination due to his work performance instead.

Sometime, to contact the employee's family member to support is useful, you do not want him to commit suicide after you terminate his service. Sometime, you may advise him to opt to resign too.
