The company i'm in allows for no-pay leave and people have been blatantly abusing it. Some taking no-pay leave before exhausting annual leave. Are there any guidelines regarding no-pay leave and its utilisation?
The employer may grant the employee unpaid leave, if the employee is not eligible for annual leave or has used up his annual leave. No-pay leave is not mandatory and it only subjects to employer’s approval.
