Please advise if childcare leave applies to foreign employees on S Pass. If the employee’s child is in his/her home country, can they still take the 2 day childcare leave?
Yes, it is applicable for all employees in Singapore who has children below 7 years old. There are no clause in the Law mentioned that S Pass or E Pass holder is not eligible and the child has to be in Singapore to eligible for the leave.
Answer is, yes, you have.
