Pro-rate of salary

I have a worker who starts work at 15th of August. May I know the calculation salary, for the working days? Do we need to calculate sat & sun? Our working hour mon – fri .

It depends whether you Company is computing based on working days or calendar days.

Most companies will compute based on monthly working days and the computation is:

Basic Salary /(total working days of the month)*Actual working days
